CVS - Store 1
If you remember last week I had trouble with the checker over the candy, well I thought since I was at Kroger and being that CVS is next door in this town I would give them another chance. I mean everybody has a bad day every now and then. Well I've found out NOT THIS STORE!!! I'll explain it later.
Transaction 1:
3 Herbal Essence Shampoo 8.97
Coupons MFG -3.00
EBC -4.00
Total OOP: 2.33
Transaction 2:
2 2 Liter Diet Pepsi 2.50
3 Carmel Candy (filler) .99
CVS coupon 3.00 off 15.00 - 3.00
Total OOP: .49
Transaction 3:
4 Pepsi 12 packs 12.00
2 Lays Chips 6.00
3 Herbal Essense Shampoo 8.97
1 Revlon Nail Color 4.99
Ebc USed -29.00
Total OOP: 3.77
This was were the problem was: First off I had a coupon for 1.00 off any revlon product. The cashier (and OH how I wish their names printed on the receipts like Walgreens does) refused to take the coupon. The date was good. I explained to her that it was for any revlon product and she said: "but it doesnt show nail polish on the picture"! I'm glad I wasnt buying milk from this lady and it had a cow instead of the jug of milk. I'd of had to run home and gotten the truck!!!!!! So I said well I hope that the survey doesnt print at the end of the receipt because if it does you just earned yourself a 1 instead of a 5 being that this is the second week in a roll that this has happened in this store. I went on and said, politely of course, Maybe you should take lessons from the store up the road. They are always cheerful and polite..... and even smile. With this I put my next transaction on the counter. I knew she was happy to ring this one up. : )
Transaction 4:
2 Puffs Tissues 1.98
2 Herbal Essense Shampoo 5.98
Used .50 off PUFFS -.50
USed 2.00 off Herbal Essense -2.00
EBC -4.98
Total OOP: .70
So after I couldnt find what I went in for (they were out of ALOT of stuff) I went north to my FAVORITE CVS STORE IN BENTON!!!!!!!
Am I glad I did. I found unexpected deals that even the cashier didnt know about! WOOT WOOT!!!
Transaction 1:
2 Rogaine 39.98
2 Clarol Naturals 11.98
3 Sally Hansen Nail Polish 10.98
Rubbermaid bowls all sizes 34.60
2 One Touch Mini 39.98
MFG COupons -97.98
EBC 30.00
Total OOP: 9.54
Now on the Rubbermaid bowls, Man what a deal and I might go back and clean the shelf off before they are gone.
It's buy one get one half off. but there is NO sign posted! I just happened to have my rubbermaid coupons and seen the bowls where 1.49 each and with 1.00 off I needed a few and thought .49 was a good deal. So when she rang them up I went back and got alot of them. As you can see in the pictures. Good day
So OVERALL TODAY WAS:
Products 785.37
TOTAL OOP: 128.78
Savings of: 656.59
I'd say it was a good day. But my Husband says, you are running out of places to store this stuff you need to come up with a better system on that end. SO I'm thinking, hey maybe a first giveway basket? Anybody game?
