Front Load Washer and Dryers and after Christmas sales

I'm off to look for a front load washer and dryer. One would think that the prices on these things would drop. I mean it's not like they are made of silver and gold. I just want a easy cost effective means to wash and dry my clothes. I do hang out my clothes when it's better weather. But the weather in my part has been in the 20/30's and well I just don't like stiff clothes right now. So I'll let you know what I find. Anybody find any good bargains today? I plain on hitting the after Christmas sale at CVS for sure. Let me know what you find
