Good Morning

I can not tell you how glad I am it's Friday. Even though this has been a 4 day work week for me it seems that those 4 day weeks are longer then 5 days. Go Figure. I think this weekend I"m going to sit back and relax. Tonight our grade school girls go to the first game of their state play offs and since it's my turn.....I'll be there! Me and Ms. Ginny in our Big Yellow Taxi's!!!
I really havent seen big sales this coming week. I'm hoping that they are waiting on the last minutes before they start posting some good things. But as soon as I see them I'll pass them along.
I'd like to hear of some of the good sales you are getting, even if it's one thing let me know. Scroll down to where it says comments click it and let me know...
other then that have a great day!

  1. Hi! I found your blog earlier this week and have loved learning from you. Thanks for all of your work!

I have been learning how to maximize my savings at Walgreens and CVS. This week was actually pretty good at CVS. I took advantage of the Pepsi, Hallmark, and CVS allergy med deals. I was even able to get my pull ups for 6 dollars because of the way I worked my deal. I thought that was pretty good.

The after Christmas sales have also been really great. I got some toys at Toys R Us for 90% off. At Anne Taylor I found a beautimous shirt for 3.50 (90% off + another 25% off)

Anyway. I am still trying to learn how to work my coupons on groceries, but it sometimes seems daunting. Yikes! I'll get there I am sure. After all, I have only been trying the grocery game for 2 months.

  2. That's great Alita. Plus a shirt for 3.50! You did good. You will get the hang of it. The hardest part I think is getting the stash of coupons to start with. You can do it just keep plugging along.

  3. I agree. Not only getting the stash, but keeping them organized too.

I wanted to share some of my deals from this week. At Kroger I got free Sea Pac shrimp poppers, free Scotch Brite sponges with IP http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure/scotchbrite/ultranailsaver/, and free Colgate Total using $1 mq along with ecoupons on www.cellfire.com. I also got 10 assorted Kraft cheeses at .75 ea. using mega deal and 10 .75 blinkies. I got a lot of other stuff too. Oh, and I found Uncle Ben's rice on clearnce for $1 and I used $1/2, so I got them for .50 ea. And for CVS I printed off 2 $15 off Rogaine and I am going to use my $10/50 q to try to build up my ebs for next week because there are a lot of free after q's and ecb that I am lookin forward to.
